Does check-in work without internet?
Yes. Each phone keeps scanning from its downloaded guest list and syncs when it reconnects. Tickets scanned on two offline phones are flagged on sync.
Open the scanner while you still have a connection so the guest list downloads. After that, scanning keeps working without internet.
How duplicates are handled
| Situation | What happens |

| Phones online | Every scan is checked with the server in real time. A ticket used on one phone is rejected on all the others. |
| One phone offline | It rejects tickets it has already scanned, and checks the rest against its downloaded list. It syncs when it reconnects. |
| Several phones offline | Each phone only knows its own scans, so the same ticket could be accepted on two phones. When they reconnect, Konecto flags the duplicate with both times and devices. |
Tips for patchy venues
- Keep at least one scanner online, for example on a mobile hotspot.
- Give each door or lane its own scanner so a returning guest meets the same phone.
- Check the Flagged list after the doors close.
