Spread traffic to every booth on a trade show floor

Traffic clusters near the entrance and the big stands. Layout, programming and challenges that get people to the back of the hall.

On most trade show floors, the first rows and the biggest stands take most of the traffic. Exhibitors at the back pay the same and go home disappointed. You can change that.

Put the magnets at the back

Coffee, food, the main stage and the charging station pull people. Place them so attendees walk past as many booths as possible to reach them.

Break long aisles

Long straight aisles make people walk fast. Islands, feature areas and seating slow them down near exhibitors.

Programme the quiet hours

Traffic dips after lunch and late in the afternoon. Schedule demos, short talks on the floor, or a double-points challenge window then.

Use zones

Group exhibitors by theme and give each zone a reason to visit: a talk, a showcase, a challenge.

Gamify the long tail

A challenge that requires one booth from every zone, or every booth in the back rows, sends people exactly where they need to go.

Measure it

Track visits per booth by hour. Next year, use the map of cold spots to change the layout and price stands fairly.

In Konecto: booth scans, challenge visits and exhibitor reports show which parts of the floor worked, hour by hour.
